The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the manufacturing workling environment, but the line of work was not always as challenging as I would have hoped.
The members of my team made me feel at home from day 1 and couldn't do more to help me fit in.
My supervisor and team leader were always on hand if I needed guidance or help establishing targets.
As my placement was less project based than others my work flow would fluctuate depending on the demand put on the office.
I was often left to do tasks my own way and take investigations the way I chose but some work was very 'standard procedure'.
I have put a lot of my manufacturing knowledge to the test and learned a lot more than university can teach you about real engineering issues.
The Company
Very quiet, the team members were all great to talk to but there was little atmosphere.
My line manager guided me well through the placement, giving me objectives, changing them, keeping my records up to date etc.
Training wise I havent picked up much, it has more been the experience gained that I will take with me.
Flexi Time

Company Parties/Events
The company is huge and there are endless prospects!
The Culture
I didn't have any other interns with me here, but I have got on well with the employees very well. I have joined their football team.
I lived at home so can't comment
