The Role
Very good experiance and great learning experiance. Great to get direct exposure to different departments and to learn more about the bank structure and responsabilities of different positions.
Surprisingly easy to approach and helpful with daily tasks. Received plenty of support to learn and gain experiance.
I was guranteed a consistent workload and exposure by my manager. Was fully involved in the day to day activities of the department. Was actively involved in client meetings, site visits.
Working hours depend on how much you want to take from the internship, can be very flexible and easy or very busy.
Despite being an intern, you are expected to adapt quickly and was ussually given full responsability for most tasks. Every member of the team is expected to add value and contribute.
Managing several tasks within time constraints and working with several divisions at once helped me develop strong organisational and time management skills. The training at the beginning of the internship was very helpful to strengthen my background in finance and banking. The internship helped me develop great market and department specific knowledge which will be great support once I return to the industry after my studies.
The Company
The overall atmosphere is quite relaxed and friendly. The quality of work expected though is of the highest standart and daily responsabilities are taken very seriously.
Organisation was great, we had consitent support and presentations on how the bank works, high quality training and structured process overall.
We had one week training at the begining of the internship. We were also constantly
Company Parties/Events
Results will be presented at the end of the internship.
The Culture
Training week together and some organised events really brought all interns together. We thus organised plenty of events together throughout the internship.
The placement is in London, thus prices are as high as they get, however in most cases it was really worth paying for the quality.
Its London...
We had many organised intern events, plenty of opportunities to organise some ourselves. Most teams and departments also has team bonding evenings as well.
