    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There were only a few other placement students on the project, so there wasn't a huge social side. Went on one night out with one other placement student.

    3/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Cost of living was reasonable, in one of the site caravans, however the socialising was pretty non existent, due to working next to a motorway.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Went on one night out near where I worked and there were only small pubs in the area. There was not a buzzing atmosphere to say the least.

    1/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • The company laid on a staff curry night on site, with inflatable fair ground games, which was a good laugh and meant I could mingle with a lot of staff on the project. Other than that, there were no activities outside of work.
