The Role
I really enjoyed it, however, it would have been good to have done some more shadowing. The insight we got into the company was very interesting though, and really made me want to work for Bank of America.
The Campus Recruitment Team were really helpful, and approachable, as were most of the other interns, however not all of the interns were as friendly when people from the business were around.
The Campus Recruitment Team did a really good job.
There was always something going on, which was great, however, it would have been good to see a bit more of the business first hand. I would have liked there to be more shadowing sessions.
There wasn't a great deal of responsibility as it was an Insight week, rather than an internship. However, we had to put together a group presentation, which I found really rewarding.
I will take from the Insight week snippets of market knowledge and an improved set of analytical techniques.
The Company
All the interns were very pleased to be a part of the Insight Week.
The Campus Recruitment Team did a very good job, and we were always busy.
There wasn't a huge amount of training, as it was an Insight Week, not an Internship, but I feel that we were still valued as prospective employees of the firm.
Subsidised Canteen
I'd love to get a job with Bank of America.
The Culture
I made some really good friends on the Insight Week, and I have stayed in contact with them since.
Fine, as it was heavily subsidised, and food and travel costs were covered.
As it was only a week, we didn't really go out, although there were a couple of opportunities to have a drink with other Interns on the way back from work.
Not really, as the placement only lasted for a week.
