    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I found the course incredibly helpful and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, regardless of whether you are even considering this industry as a career path.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The feedback is all strengths-based so it really helps to build your confidence.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The supervisors were brilliant and friendly and very open to questions specific or not to their role. Most of the time we were in groups of 5/6 with one supervisor each who we got to know well over the three days.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Busy nearly all the time but with a really good mix of activities so some were more relaxed/team-building rather than solely work-based.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • NA

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Fantastic course for building awareness of oneself in professional situations and around others.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Relationships built very quickly amongst the team and the importance of this was emphasised throughout.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • We were given a very clear, structured timetable at the start of the course which was stuck to exactly as described. Clearly explained the aims of the course at the start.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We received fantastic training over the 3 day course with food, travel and accommodation paid for despite us not being employed by the company.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    Company Parties/Events

    Healthcare/Dental

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Am currently at the last stage of assessment before a Summer Internship!

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The group of 23 students got along really well. We had a wide mix of people from different backgrounds and had good ice-breaker activities at the start.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Stayed in the same complex for 3 days with everything provided.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • They set on activities every evening, all with opportunities to meet people from different areas from the firm and to socialise amongst ourselves and with the supervisors.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • It was a busy 3 days course without time to do anything other than the set activities but the majority of these were not work-based.

    3/5
