    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed it! It was amazing to be around so many smart people :) PwC organized the event very well. Hectic, but truly enjoyable!!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone worked really hard on the group project and we supported each other - great feeling!! In the AC, most ppl were rather competitive, but for the most part, your own opinions were heard.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The HR team did a fab job! They arranged a dinner with rotating partners - great idea! PwC invested in us, I was honored to be there. Application process prep.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • We had sooo much to do! Tests, practise AC, real ACs, presentations, etc. etc. Not much sleep!

  • I was there on the Insight academy, so no responsibility was given.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Business skills, definitely! Presentation. Networking. Insight into professional services. AC prep.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I wasn't in the office. I was at a hotel in the suburbs.

  • VERY well organized! We got a schedule and it was followed closely.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We only had three days -- all they did was invest in us. We really didn't do anything for them.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Very appealing. However, I didn't pass the written exercise, but I am given a second chance in October to re-do the AC.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yeah. PwC HR team liked to hang out with us :) Everyone was friendly

  • We were at a hotel, far out in the suburbs.
