The Role
By far the best internship I have ever undertaken.
Everyone was sooo friendly and approachable despite their level of seniority.
Was encouraged and allowed to use my initative which I prefer.
I was allowed to become very intergrated into my team, and was therefore allowed to develop my own ideas and work on my own projects.
I was handed alot of responsibility however needed to prove i was capable.
The training I received will without a doubt help with my modules next year, and the contacts and skills I have developed are definitely for life.
The Company
People in the office were consistently pleasant and approachable.
HR planned fortnightly events for interns including during our first week an interactive problem solving task around the city, bowling, renting our a bar for a sports evening (olympics), a leaving reception at the barbican. My internship was well planned out, however I was given alot of freedom to make the most of my experience and organise my time and learning opportunities. You get from the internship whatever you put in.
Alot of time, effort and money was invested into us interns to ensure we enjoyed the experience, were kept busy, were challenged and had the opportunity to learn alot from the organisation and add to the organisation.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
very appealing.
The Culture
Everyone got along very well, and HR ensured we had the opportunity to interact with oneanother through the intern events and drinks.
What you would expect from the city.
What you would expect from the city.
There are various networks and social clubs within BlackRock to get invovled in.
