  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a great fun, I looked forward to my work every day.

  • Colleagues were friendly and tried to include me in everything they were doing.

  • My manager gave me a very high degree of freedom, but was always eager to help.

  • Usually I stayed at work overtime, not because I had to, but because i wanted to.

  • My project was open-ended, which means that I decided myself what to do.

  • The skills will probably be extremely useful, even essential, in my future employment.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was very relaxed.

  • There were some hiccups, but generally there weren't any real problems.

  • I had a few days of training.

  • Subsidised/Company Gym

  • I think I will be able to get a job.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • It was OK, but only a handful of students actually wanted to socialise.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Surprisingly, average beer price was even higher than London.

  • Can't really comment, we spent nights sleeping usually.

  • ARM offered many external activities.
