The Role
Tough to start with, but really settled in and was lucky to be working on some great projects
Worked with an amazing team of people, an made some great friends
Management always supportive and helpful throughout
Busy but not too busy, work load throughout the placement could have been a little more evenly spread but otherwise great
Worked on really important projects and loved it!
Not so much skills for the degree, but skills for life.
The Company
Depends where you are on the floor, sometimes very loud and other times quiet, but always plenty of people to talk to about your experiences and problems
Pretty good. Very helpful HR team with a number of interesting projects outside of your day to day work
Couldn't ask for more. Constant never ending training opportunities on every topic you could wish for
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
I would love to go back!
The Culture
Spot on - great group of people. Shame it was so expensive in London
Very expensive exclusive London prices, particularly for food.
A few nice bars and pubs but you had to travel a little to find the clubs - which were very expensive. As expected for central London though.
Not really anything that wasn't organised amongst other placement students
