The Role
I enjoyed all aspects of my summer internship with Nomura. The work, the people and the socials.
The feedback I received throughout my intern made me feel very comfortable in my role.
Whenever I had a question to ask there would always be someone to answer it or point me in the right direction.
Very busy but it meant the day would whistle by and to me meant I was valued by my colleagues.
My manager took holiday for a week which ment within reason I was left in control. A great way to try and show off my skills.
The work ethic and ambition I have collected from this intern should stand me in great stead for the future.
The Company
Perfect - work would always come first but everyone in the office was a great laugh.
Ran extremely well.
I was only a summer intern so not much time for any formal timing.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Very appealing - this industry is definitely the one for me.
The Culture
Nomura would be a great career choice for anyone with a high work ethic.
Expensive - but what else would you expect from the city?
Absolutely great - unlimited of places to go and things to do.
HR were always putting on events for the interns.
