The Role
The Leadership academy was a really enjoyable experience overall, giving you to opportunity to learn new skills and enjoy team building activites
Staying together at an external venue made it very easy to get to know people through various socials
The sessions were lead by leadership specialist consultants who provided a great deal of guidance, while EY facilitators were also extremely supportive
Each day was packed full of activites to keep you busy, with evening socials as well but there were enough breaks and opportunites to recover throughout the day.
There were lots of opportunities to take the lead on projects, and everyone generally had a chance to lead
I developed some key skills which were be useful in any work place environment, when working in a team
The Company
Generally very friendly, active atmosphere
Really well organised and planned out activites as well as socials
Invested quite heavily by inviting a professional skills consultancy to take most of the sessions
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I'd love to work with the kind of people I met at the academy, going to apply for a summer internship!
The Culture
There was a social every evening, and varied so there was something for everyone
Covered as part of the academy
Not much nightlife as it was an external venue, but good evening socials to make up for it!
