The Role
Really interesting but challenging work. I had the opportunity to undertake a variety of different tasks.
Everyone was really friendly and made me feel very welcome. My work was actually used and I definitely felt like people valued my contributions.
My supervisor was very helpful giving me advice, help and support to enable me to make the most of my placement.
I found I was relatively busy on a daily basis due to all the extra activities arranged for us as well as being in the office.
I was given more responsibility than I was expecting.
The training I received was extremely useful and the skills I learnt were transferable to university studies as well as my future career.
The Company
Although the departments were very busy there was generally a very friendly atmosphere in the office.
The placement was very well organised with a variety of training and social events as well as being in the office. The information was all given to us in advance which was very useful.
I felt that the firm definitely invested a lot of time and effort in training me and developing my skills.
Subsidised Canteen
I would very much like to work for this firm in the future.
The Culture
There were various social events arranged for us whilst we were on the scheme which all the placement students enjoyed.
As I was working in London, the cost of living was relatively high.
Although I did not have the opportunity to enjoy the nightlife whilst I was working, the nightlife in London is very enjoyable with many choices available.
Many activities were available to us including sporting events run by the firm.
