The Role
Some areas were of more interest than others.
My line manager was very supportive but I am not sure whether the other interns received the same level of support.
Really supportive, helpful etc
At times I was a bit bored and more work would have been good.
A suitable level of responsibiity
Presentation skills
The Company
Fairly relaxed and happy vibe in the office
Well set up and support from Head Office was always there, structured programme etc.
I was given a bonus if I committed to coming back for a second internship with them
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Was a really good placement but it made me realise banking is not for me. I would not criticise HSBC though.
The Culture
Casual after work drinks were organised.
It is expensive to work in central London but the territorial allowance allowed for this.
Worked in the West End so everything was on the doorstep
I was invited out on the office social trips.
