The Role
It was a very enjoyable experience and everyone was very welcoming.
Everyone was friendly, all of the other undergrads were in the same boat so we got along and will remain in contact.
I was in an office atmosphere and had my boss sitting near me with an open door style and any questions i had he aswered.
The workload didnt increase as much as i expected and the actual project i was given was over fairly quickly. However other jobs were given to me as my ability increased.
I cant say i was given loads of resposibility, but as it was my first placement thats understandable. However the project and work i was given was all on me.
I learned some very important skills and most importantly things that are not thought about in University and the differences in the real world.
The Company
A good office to work in but at times did feel a little quiet. Just like any other office should be i would have thought.
Very impressively organised placement with a designated placement officer having regular meetings with all undergrads ensuring we know what is avaliable and expected of us.
They showed me everything i would need to know if i were to take up a full time role.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym

The Culture

Sort of average i guess
Haha the nightlife wasn't great but there are a few bars and things to meet up
Yes there were several outings and several undergrads were put on various schemes
