The Role
My only reservation was that I'm working in an office all day but aside from that it really has been excellent.
I feel like the project I took part in and the report I produced will not be dumped in the bin, which is a positive feeling. Also I feel equally treated and the opportunity to talk to absolutely anyone is abundant.
Everyone in the office is friendly and approachable.
There were days when I had no need to rush or be on task, this is down to me but at the same time, i could have finished my designated project in a far shorter time
My project is a big one, covering a wide area, and currently in its development phase, in understanding this I never expected to be given a massive task. Nevertheless the role I was given and the information divulged gave me an opportunity to demonstrate my ability.
Massively! The research involved is invaluable to my degree.
The Company
Good bunch of people.
Quite poor tbh. We were told we'll be here less than 2 weeks before we got here. This made it incredibly stressful to find living accomodation for me and my parents. Also gave us no chance to explore the area before.
Not that much actually. Effort is required on your part if you want to improve.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Not sure I want to spend my youth in an office tbh
The Culture
Yes but this was created by us.
Relatively cheap.
Coming from a proper nightlife city and living a Uni city, this does not compare at all. Disgraceful.
Yeah, they were dry though.
