The Role
Overall, I enjoyed my placement experience.
At all times.
My BDM was always there for support and management was easily approachable
I was busy the majority of the time but did have days when there was not much to do.
I was given responsibility for orders from initial enquiry through to the final delivery of the product. So I was responsible for making sure that clients were happy with the products.
Although the placement was not directly linked to my degree course it will improve my employability.
The Company
Friendly envrionment, everyone gets on well.
Very well organised in terms of accommodation and structure of the placement as each intern is paired with a BDM.
Training in the first two weeks of placement
Company Parties/Events
It was a good experience but I personally would not like a career in sales.
The Culture
We went out pretty much every weekend
The cost of living was higher than university but I managed to get by.
Maidenhead nightlife is awful! But we went to Windsor and Reading which are nearby and was only £10 return taxi each.
The boys play football twice a week and there are few gymnasiums which some interns have joined
