The Role
Really great programme that was extremely well organised for the entire duration.
Very good group to work with - people appreciated input and worked well together.
Very good mentoring from EY staff and course staff, who continued to follow up after the course.
Always activities to do, however the balance was great between work and play, with a little bit of free time to ensure we could do our own thing as well.
Only an insight, so no actual responsibility.
The course was entirely focused on skills development, and there was actually very little focus on EY as an employer. Everything we learnt was transferable and applicable to work/life.
The Company
Good atmosphere, with everyone willing to have a lot of fun, do a lot of serious work, and often both at the same time.
Excellent planning for both work and social activities.
Absolutely great investment in us, with clearly very good (and expensive!) tutoring, lots of senior business contact, and really nice accommodation and surroundings.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
People are offered a fast-tracked assessment centre after the academy, and the company seems like a great one to work with.
The Culture
Really good social scene with everyone keen to get to know each other and have fun in the evenings, with organised activities, as well as casual ones like football.
Everything was paid for, so no costs!
Despite being in a hotel in the countryside, we were amply provided for with evening entertainment.
Good social activities in the evening.
