The Role
Very enjoyable set of colleagues to work alongside
Some were very keen for me to accept responsibility and tasks and others were less willing to give me important tasks to complete
Regularly given objectives that were reviewed and feedback given
Most days it was just right but as the project came to a close there was less and less for me to do
Was responsible for producing relatively important documents but was always checked up on by a senior member
Not much with my degree but a good insight into working life
The Company
A really genuine and nice set of people that always made me feel welcome
Big improvement from previous years in terms of tasks and objectives set by the Development and Training team, externally from the specific project i was working on
A lot of time and effort is spent on these summer placement schemes and it shows!
After this i will hopefully be invited to an assessment centre to determine if i am suitable for a further role in the company
The Culture
Only one other student in the office but we got on well!
Lived at home and travelled in but lunch was pretty cheap!
Didnt go on a night out in this area
No, but a leaving do had been organised for another member that i was invited to
