The Role
So many different task to get involved in, no day was the same and it was never boring!
Sometimes like I was doing jobs no-one else wanted,l which is fair enough when other people had more important things to be getting on with, but I felt the individual tasks I was set were valued and did add something to the organisation.
Whenever I needed something I could always ask.
If I ever ran out of things to do I could just ask and more jobs were found for me so always had something do and always a variety of jobs so definitely go t a wide range of experience as well.
Not running the show but was given tasks on jobs that no-one else was working on so in that respect I had responsibilty over certain aspects.
Everything from IT skills and databasing to in depth research and presentation. Learnt a lot!
The Company
Very friendly but everyone clearly respected the charity and the job they had to do so very dynamic and busy.
I missed the first week when most of the introductions happened so missed meeting quite a few people but in terms of my specific placement everything was seamless.
Excellent CV training in the middle of the
Subsidised Canteen
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
I can't apply at the moment but I'd love to in the future.
The Culture
Lot of encouragement to get invovled with things with the other interns.
London, so pretty pricey but you can always find cheaper stuff which is fun!
