The Role
Very good quality work given to me. Well planned socials and skills sessions. Overall, one of the best internships I have done. Could have been a little longer though.
I was made to feel very welcome by everyone that I met.
My supervisors were very supportive and willing to answer any questions that I had. They took time out of their days to chat about the profession and the firm.
At times I was not too busy, but in general I had a good flow of interesting work.
I was given a reasonable ammount of responsibility, taking on work that is akin to that which a trainee does.
Very useful skills for a career in the legal profession.
The Company
The people are great. Outgoing and very welcoming.
Faultless.
The level of investment in its interns is exceptional. There were many lectures and skills sessions, developing our overall knowledge of the profession.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
You still have to prove your self in an interview after the placement, but retention rates are very good due to how selective the firm is in offering places on the internship.
The Culture
Very outgoing and interesting people.
Its the City!
Good, just a short tube ride to anywhere in central London.
Good, but not encouraged to participate in the firm's sports teams etc. - possibly due to short length of internship.
