The Role
The work environment is really fun and there's a lot of energy. Tasks are interesting.
Everyone is really chummy and helpful. Relationships are formed quickly.
Despite being in a difficult situation, my management really supported me and my placement. I could tell that my interests were definitely being considered and planned for.
Could've been challenged a bit more but again, this is due to the unique situation my particular team was in at the time.
I was put in charge of running L'Oréal Paris UK's social media channels singlehandedly - that's alot of responsibility.
The Company
People definitely know to have a good time here and the atmosphere is always buzzing
Again, my particular internship was a bit different due to the team dynamics. This meant that the internship wasn't very well organised.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
This is a bit difficult. If you're a masters student/have work experience I might look elsewhere. Their interns are basically fed onto the management trainee programme which is mainly to give recent grads with no experience some business experience before making them operational. This means that people can be on the MT programme for over a year and, for people with more experience, it can be a step down.
The Culture
Yup - very friendly and always going out.
Well it's London.
Don't really go out in the area but lots of people do.
