The Role
There is a great working atmosphere, and it is clearly evident that this company look after the employees. The monthly free bar is a great example of this!
You are part of a team with a chance to contribute to many projects and your opinion is listened too and often acted upon.
Managers are often very busy, so it can be difficult to get time with them. But they are very welcoming and do actively make time to help you and listen to findings.
This was probably the weakest aspect of the internship. I was often in a stage in my project with little to do, but it does force you to be proactive in extending your work.
My project had real retail implications which was a great experience.
It was only a summer internship so there was not much emphasis on training.
The Company
People actively engage in conversation and banter.
It was well organised, along with socials and inductions.
It was only a summer intern so little training was invested in.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
They actively encourage interns to become future graduate trainees and management.
The Culture
Socials were set up at the start of the internship so everyone got to know each other. These relationships then developed over the summer.
London is expensive!!
London is expensive but there is a lot on offer.
Sports and gym memberships were on offer, along with monthly socials and quiz nights etc.
