The Role
The sceme was good fun: we went bowling, had a couple of lunches, dinners and drinks events. The trip to Paris had to be my highlight though!
I feel that my supervisors, the trainees I worked with, and even the partners I met, valued me as a potential colleague. One partner even sat down with me for an hour or so to chat about the differences between American, Silver and Magic circle firms.
The guidance from my superiors was good, however improvements could be made in the supervisor system. unfortunately I wasn't sharing an office with my supervisors and so had little contact time with them. However those I did share a room with gave me plenty of guidance.
I had just the right amount of work - if I ever had too much I didn't feel afraid to let them know.
Again I felt like I was given an appropriate amount of responsibility. I wouldn't say I was running the show though...
It was great experience for being a trainee - it seemed like I was doing lits of the work that I would have to do if they offered me a TC.
The Company
The atmosphere was good but obviously pretty hard working. However they did have a basket of sweets available every Friday night...
I was well organised with a good amoun f socials. However I feel there could have been more socials to get to know he other vac schemers.
I don't know what they could have done differently for a 3 week scheme but I wouldn't say anything in particular was invested in my training. But that goes with the territory, trainees learn a lot on the job.

Company Parties/Events
Generally firms are still suffering from the crunch but I could see myself getting a job here.
The Culture
It was good but could have been better.
Pretty damn expensive... The pay covered food and board.
Plenty of clubs, bars and restaurants.
They emailed us offeing a place on the cricket squad. In fairness most
