The Role
The internship gave me a really great insight into workingat Mayer Brown.
The staff and graduate recruitment team were really kind, interested and considerate.
My supervisors were really really nice and helpful. They took me for coffee and were really happy to chat about anything that I wanted to know,
I was given work wherever possible but obviously in this current market there is unfortunately a reduced amount of work floating around.
My supervisors were prepared to trust me with work and allow me to get on with it. They were prepared to criticise but also commend work that I did.
It has been useful to see how my legal studies now may be of relevance in the corporate environment
The Company
The office were very friendly
The internship ran very smoothly and we were kept informed of what was going on
Subsidised Canteen
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
It was a little concerning to hear of the trainee retention rates in this current market.
The Culture
The internship group were so fun - we organise lots of independent meet ups.
Nightlife in the square mile hardly sets the world on fire
