The Role
The vacation scheme provided me with great insights into the work and culture at Linklaters.
We were treated like part of the team from the every first day.
No matter how busy they were, my supervisors always took time to explain things to me.
I worked on on-going client matters and was stretched in a good way.
I was given high-level instructions and was given the freedom to present the information I see fit.
The skills tested/developed during the vacation scheme were invaluable e.g. networking, teamwork, time management etc.
The Company
I felt welcomed by the firm. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to.
The vacation scheme was very well-organised. The balance between work and social activities was well-struck.
Lots of useful presentations and workshops e.g. litigation/client pitch
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Yet to attend training contract interview
The Culture
Everyone was easy to hang out with and a fun bunch.
The vacation scheme was in London, but there were lots of drinks session.
A few pubs around the area.
there were clubs/societies.
