The Role
I had a really good time on an out of town project.
I was given full responsibility but still regarded as an intern
Management were supportive and appreciative that I was an intern
I was quite bored during the first few weeks, but got much busier after 3 weeks.
I asked for a lot of responsibility and was given it.
The skills received in training generic ans therefore useful
The Company
You are in control of this, and we (interns) ensured that it was fun
Well organised, but communication between HR department and client project could have been better
A lot of time was out in during the first week, with experts brought in for enhancing the interns self development
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Full time employees enjoy more benefits, and in some cases, company cars
The Culture
Very good...but you have to organise some of them or they won't happen
Company provided hotel and subsistence budget
As in any big city
Many events were hosted, but it's up to you to partake
