The Role
Could have been a week or two shorter.
Depending on what desk you're assigned to, and how many members make up your team. I had a lot of interaction with all members if my team (junior to senior) because it was small.
My supervisor advised me on a daily basis.
I had an ongoing project, as well as frequent rotations that I'd arranged on my own.
I was assigned a project that would have otherwise been done by an analyst - my work was used in client meetings - so I was given a fair amount of responsibility for an intern.
Definitely gained a lot in terms of financial knowledge and office environment interactions.
The Company
Very friendly workplace, great team! Everyone was generally very willing to teach me.
Perhaps a bit more information on the hiring process would have been to all interns' benefits.
We had a very useful in depth technical training at the beginning of the internship. And talks were held throughout on the different dvisions of the bank.
Company Parties/Events
Hopefully I will get an offer at the end of the internship - headcount is pretty vague at the moment.
The Culture
Great bunch of people.
London is generally very expensive.
Average. Though many other places in close proximity available.
Yes.
