The Role
Really loved this placement - the desk was interesting and always gave me things to read and do.
Fantastic desk - they offered loads of support and advice.
Our rotation system was somewhat confusing, but this affected others more than me.
I was given loads of time to learn and research myself.
Was asked to produce some data analysis occasionally, I'm quite glad there wasn't too much responsibility though.
I developed considerably in terms of personal skills (eg, meeting people, presenting..) which I had not expected.
The Company
Could be tense at times as the desk worked very hard.
The rotation system was on a do-it-yourself basis which was confusing to start with.
Great introduction week of personal training.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
For me it has gone quite well, I don't think there are loads of jobs going around though, so perhaps quite competitive?
The Culture
Some of the interns were pretty studious, but there was a group of us who went out a bit.
Standard London prices really.
We work near shoreditch clubs/bars...so fantastic!
We did a very good volunteering day which I thoroughly enjoyed.
