The Role
Good internship in general. The mix between HR events and actual desk placements is very good.
The inclusion was ok, but not great. I did not have the feeling there is a huge team spirit in this particular industry which makes it difficult to judge on that point.
Support was really good when demanded.
depending on the rotation. I had one which was rather boring and where I havent had a lot to do while the other was well balanced but with a tendence of too much work.
I did not feel like being given very responsible tasks but I'd rather blame the short period of time for that since I dont think that can be the often case within 4 weeks.
When studying business, the training is very basic. The models are tailored for every team. So it generally gives a better understanding of the financial industry.
The Company
Very work focused. no to a very few team-events or private converstaions
Very well organized.
High investments in training, though I considered it as very basic with a business background
Hard to judge, depends on the final review.
The Culture
social scene amongst the students was good. with the colleagues less but still ok regarding the fact that they know we are about to leave again soon.
London is expensive in general, so this point is useless.
Good nightlife in the city though hard to participate during the week with long hours.
there are obviously quite a few opportunities but depending on the desk it can be difficult to actually participate
