  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • While it has been challenging, I really enjoyed my experience at RBS.

  • Everyone I've worked with from grad to more senior members of the business have been extremely helpful and offered up information and advice.

  • There were points of contact for any query and I have been given support throughout the internship.

  • I was very busy but in a great way. I don't like sitting about!

  • As an intern you can't take on a huge amount of responsibility but I was given plenty to do that helped me learn which is the most important thing.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have developed so many skills - communication, presentation, technical etc. it has been an extremely useful experience.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Fun but hard working.

  • Only problem was with rotations but this was fine if you could take a bit of initative yourself.

  • We were heavily invested in and valued.

  • I don't know if I have a job yet but I would love to work here and it has been a great experience.

  • Interns all got together to hang out and I've made some good friends.

  • Expensive. It's London!

  • Pretty good but pricey.

  • CSR days, intern events etc. lots of fun if you get involved.
