The Role
While it has been challenging, I really enjoyed my experience at RBS.
Everyone I've worked with from grad to more senior members of the business have been extremely helpful and offered up information and advice.
There were points of contact for any query and I have been given support throughout the internship.
I was very busy but in a great way. I don't like sitting about!
As an intern you can't take on a huge amount of responsibility but I was given plenty to do that helped me learn which is the most important thing.
I have developed so many skills - communication, presentation, technical etc. it has been an extremely useful experience.
The Company
Fun but hard working.
Only problem was with rotations but this was fine if you could take a bit of initative yourself.
We were heavily invested in and valued.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I don't know if I have a job yet but I would love to work here and it has been a great experience.
The Culture
Interns all got together to hang out and I've made some good friends.
Expensive. It's London!
Pretty good but pricey.
CSR days, intern events etc. lots of fun if you get involved.
