The Role
Everyone made a huge effort to make sure that I enjoyed the experience
Everyone made an effort to welcome me and I was included in meetings
I was allocated a line manager who was extremely helpful and other senior members of the team made an effort to help me
Most of the time I had things to do, although there were quieter and busier times, as you would expect in a working environment
As far as could be expected as an intern I was given quite a lot of responsibility
I learnt a vast number of exceedingly useful skills: both soft skills such as networking and presenting, to technical skills related to the industry such as product knowledge
The Company
The was a dynamic atmosphere, striking the balance between people woring hard but also enjoying discussion on things as they arise
There was a very clear structure to the internship that had clearly been carefully thought out
A huge amount of effort and no doubt money, was invested into our development, hiring external professionals to train us.
There is the opportunity to convert your internship into a full time grad position
The Culture
The interns are very sociable amongst themselves, however HR do not really organise many events
It is expensive to live in London but the salary you receive for your internship covers the cost
London nightlife is probably the best in the country
Yes there are a lot of outside of work activities such as raising money for great ormond street hospital and joining sports teams
