The Role
It was a very valuable experience. I enjoyed many aspects of the internship.
Everyone made me feel very welcome from day one. This was one of the highlights for me.
I had lots of support and opportunities to interact with higher management.
At the start I didn't have many tasks but as time went by I had more opportunities to get involved.
I had a reasonable level of responsibility. It's not always possible to have a great level of responsibility as an intern in an investment bank because of the significant sums of money involved.
I definitely developed many important life skills in my time at RBS.
The Company
Everyone was very approachable and personable. I could speak to anyone.
Most of it was very well run. The time in between getting the offer for the internship and starting could have been better managed.
RBS spared no cost in training the interns. Fantastic training week at the start.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I would definitely recommend RBS to any of my friends.
The Culture
Yes - the interns went out at the weekends!
Manchester is cheaper than London as a main financial district.
Manchester is a great night out!
Yes - we ran several charity events.
