The Role
I had one good rotation and another that I didnt really enjoy.
I was given a lot of independence and people were mostly grateful for my outputs.
It was really up to me to go out and seek help when I wanted it. Both my managers took 2 weeks holiday during my placement, I was sort of left to fend for myself but to me this was an opportunity rather than a problem.
Huge variation day to day
A mixture, some tasks I sensed were quite important whilst others was monkey work.
Again a mixture. The netowrking skills with a business environemt rather than any technical knowledge will be the long standing knowledge.
The Company
People are nice and helpful. Friendly atmosphere
Mostly smoothly but a couple of occasions of confusion.
A week long training week at the start seemed to be a lot of investment but the trainging on the job was less good. Some of lunch and learn sessions were given by people with poor presentation skills and were not worth while at all.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Tuff market and tuff conditions but I am quietly confident.
The Culture
Lived with some of tehm who were lovely people. Due to the nature of the scheme there was a bit of division between people worknig in different divisions.
Accomodation was very expensive
When i got time to go out
A few, touch rugby, CSR, sports days, fund raising; it was often up to you to find them.
