The Role
The balance of real work, formal learning and social events made the internship really enjoyable.
I was given real work almost immediately and was constantly offered advice by everyone.
The management were really helpful in offering advice and were very approachable.
The desk allowed me to work at my own pace, giving me more work as appropriate.
The work I was doing was real work and genuinely useful for the desk.
The skills learnt will be very helpful for my career after university.
The Company
The atmosphere was really good, with the office decorated with flags for the Olympics.
The internship started with a week of technical training and then led on to two rotations in different areas of the business which was really helpful.
There was a week of technical training, a selection of e-learning modules, a day of presentation training, and opportunities to watch talks by members of the business.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
MUSI make it clear that they are looking to offer jobs to strong interns.
The Culture
There were plenty of opportunities to socialise, including some provided by the firm.
London is fairly expensive, but it was possible to live and socialise at a reasonable price.
The nightlife in the surrounding area was pretty good.
There was a volunteering day helping at a charity, and opportunities to help students doing work experience.
