The Role
Great place to do an internship. The size of the company means you get a good overview of most departments.
Everyone was friendly and willing to answer questions across the board. Lots of people showed gratitude when I did work to help someone out.
My managers always found time to answer questions and set work. They were also helpful with feedback and any criticism was constructive.
The amount of work set fluctuated quite a lot. On the whole I was kept busy and even in quiet periods you can always find something to be doing.
Surprisingly large amount of responsibility, I was doing work which directly helped people out and was never set menial tasks just for the sake of it.
Not much relevance to degree studies other than maybe giving some research project ideas but the training was good and the internship was a very good opportunity to get a strong understanding of the business.
The Company
There was a good atmosphere, it varies by department but on the whole everyone was fun.
Very well organised from day one.
We had training in the first week and generally were given a lot of opportunities to learn about different parts of the firm.

The Culture
On the whole the social scene between the interns was not amazing. There were a few good events but there should have been more.
London is expensive in general but that's wasn't a surprise.
There are a few pubs, bars and a club near the office. It's not a lot of hassle to branch out as it is in a central location.
There were a few events for the interns which were good fun.
