The Role
Overall a really good placement with lots of responsibility and develops business skills.
Over time I became closer with my team and other colleagues.
There is a fantastic reviewing process where my manager gave me very strong feedback and what my strengths and weaknesses were.
Yes, I was kept very busy on a day to day basis.
This was the best aspect of the placement. They do give a lot of responsibility to interns due to the thorough application process as this lets them know you are very capable to handle it.
Again this was another strong part of the placement, as they 'throw you in at the deep end'. This really is the best way to learn things as you learn out of necessity. With the high levels of responsibility, you pick up skills that you would not gain exposure to in other companies.
The Company
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
It is a very reputable company to work for and looks great on the CV, and will develop you as an individual, but its important to be passionate about the area you work in.
The Culture
The other interns were very social as there are quite a large number, which meant we did a lot of socialising at weekends and meeting up for lunches outside of work.
It is London so everything is generally expensive, but if you are sensible you can save a bit of money.
The nightlife is incredible because there are so many different options.
Yes there are different clubs within L'Oreal, however I did not join any.
