The Role
Really enjoyable. BAML did a great job of showcasing the different aspects of the business, putting on events and getting interns to interact. For anyone looking to take their first steps into banking, the BAML spring week is perfect for allowing students to evaluate their options and get a feel for the company.
There were lots of talks from senior staff who were more than happy to take questions.
The week was really well organised. All the Campus team were really helpful and approachable.
BAML fitted a lot into the days, it was well balanced.
Group work and a presentation we worked towards gave us all the opportunity to take responsibility. Lots of events were talk/ seminar based, however, there were plenty of oppotunities to ask questions. Given the fact the spring week is only a week long, the amount of responsibility was about right.
Met some great people, excellent networking opportunities and was offered some really important advice on developing a career in banking.
The Company
Really good fun.
Campus team structured the weak really well.
I felt that BAML really reached out to all the interns. The opportunity for further involvement with BAML was certainly there for those that really wanted it.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Fast tracked to application for summer internship.
The Culture
Yes, everyone interacted really well.
London based, so what you would expect from London.
Only a week long placement, so not really applicable.
