The Role
I'd do it again...actually I want to do it again (hint. HINT).
Within my team I felt I fit right in (Oliver Dobson, Patrick Clarkin) and I enjoyed working with a lot of other people, but I have to admit I sometimes felt like some members of staff were a little patronising of interns.
Couldnt ask for more.
Due to the nature of my job I sometimes didnt have much to do (though I filled my time well!), at other times I was juggling 2 or 3 assignments.
yeah I felt like what I was doing was valuable and I could actually see my input being used in the teams work
It depends on my future career I suppose. I might never need to know how to User Test again, but on the other hand I definitely developed my skills on how to deal with a lot of different people...
The Company
Could be very, very dull if my team wasn't around. Could actually use some distraction for breaks.
Very, very easy...not a headache in terms of organisation at all
They provide an IDP and review at the start and beginning which really makes you feel like they're actually interested in your development
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Everyone knows I want the job :)
The Culture
Perhaps because I was in Oliver House I often felt a bit left out. Also...I don't mean to be rude, but a lot of the interns weren't interested in 'socialising' as I'd imagine it.
About average.
Central London's not far away and there's a few good bars/pubs nearby the offices.
Played quite a lot of football with staff.
