The Role
Overall, the placement with LBG was thoroughly enjoyable. Initially, engaging in a new culture and way of working was a struggle, but as I got to grips with this challenge, I began to enojoy both the atmosphere and the work more fully.
Everyone I met was welcoming, which made the process far easier.
There are excellent support networks in place for interns at LBG, although I'm not sure I made the most of them!
Generally, there was a good balance of work throughout the placement and, when I felt I was too busy, I was able to feed this back.
I feel I was given a level of responsibility that showed LBG's commitment to invest in me, whilst not placing too much on my shoulders.
Good all round experience of the corporate workplace,HR and the finance sector.
The Company
The focus was on work, but most people were up for some fun.
Lots for me to do from the word go. Some glitches with getting my IT sorted when I arrived.
I was very impressed at the extent to which LBG invested in the whole intern cohort, from activity days to online seminars.

I have the offer of a graduate job if I choose to accept it.
The Culture
London prices were a shock to the system!
Price aside, fantastic.
All interns were set a fundraising challenge for LBG's charity of the year.
