The Role
It was enjoyable but not too exciting or interesting.
The team were nice but quite reserved and not too friendly.
I was given a lot of support and never felt afraid to ask questions.
Not very busy, most days I had at least an hour with nothing to do. Some days I had nothing to do at all.
I was given less responsibility than a regular team member.
I learned and improved a lot of my transferrable skills, so I will be more confident in the future.
The Company
The atmosphere was relaxed but not really fun, plus I was excluded from many conversations/events.
The timeline was OK but I wasn't given enough work and my work wasn't structured in any way, just bits here and there.
We had three completely useless webinars and there was no formal training and no development opportunities other than that.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I got a referral on the grad scheme, as did most of the interns, but the offer is not too appealing.
The Culture
There was barely any socialising, everyone just went home at 5.
Cheap compared to London standards, otherwise average.
There were a few OK bars/restaurants, but nothing great.
We had to do a charity fundraising challenge.
