The Role
The work itself and the experiences I was able to undertake were great BUT large amounts of time were spent with not much, if any, work therefore bringing the enjoyment factor right down.
My colleagues treated me well and on the occasions that they were in the office, were fantastic.
The managers and senior colleagues were always there fore support and guidance when needed. They always take time out of their very busy schedules to help when needed. This can be experienced across the whole of LBG as I have experienced.
Varied on day to day basis..some days had absolutely nothing to do.
Was able to be a part of some very important work.
I don't feel that I improved or developed much to be honest.
The Company
The office can be as quiet as a Library at times despite having a large amount of people being present. Noone seems to know who the person they're sitting next to even is.
My placement was organised well but this would vary dependant on manager to manager
The company invested their time and where appropriate resources in order to improve myself.
Subsidised Canteen
I got an offer!
The Culture
Absolutely not amongst colleagues but amongst other interns, we often met up for lunch and arranged to go out for drinks.
The usual London cost of living.
Central London has a fantastic nightlift
I myself am not aware of many opportunities but there is a charity challenge which is good fun and an opportunity to have a varied work load as well as meet some other interns.
