The Role
The Leadership Academy is great fun and a challenge at the same time. Fantastic to meet other people with similar ambitions and goals and to be able to work with them in the Leadership Academy.
The people you are with are there because they want to be and because they have similar goals to you. This is not an assessment centre and it is not a dog-eat-dog three days. This means that everyone values each other and it is a great way to network for future careers.
The facilitators and leaders are absolutely brilliant. They really make the point that the course is to help you achieve your personal potential. They all really provide help and support to make this possible.
It is a packed program! Seminars, tasks and workshops are all part of the course as well as different activities in the evening from Partner dinners to Karaoke.
This is not really an environment of handing out responsibility, but Ernst and Young have very good reputation for handing out responsibility early.
This is the target of the course and a target that is exceeded. It is a fantastic course and you will learn a huge amount that will be helpful throughout life.
The Company
This is a fantastic way to learn in a very friendly atmosphere. There is a lot of laughter and friendships formed. The EY team do a great job in making this as enjoyable course as possible.
The organisation of this course is simply seamless. They put in a huge amount of time and effort into it and it really shows.
Not only do EY invest a lot in terms of the location and quality of the course, but they also invest partners time in coming to talk to the students and also loads of other members of staff from different service lines so that you can find the one that suits you best.

Company Parties/Events
Since the EY Leadership Academy in April 2012, I was offered a job after being fast tracked to an Assessment Centre in June. Really looking forward to joining them in September 2013
The Culture
Great social scene every night with different events and a fantastic bunch of people.
EY fund the whole three days.
There is a hotel bar which was used by many as well as the karaoke.
The Leadership Academy was held in a hotel with loads of opportunities to go to the gym, swim, play football, go for runs. There is not much time to get involved in these though as the program is so packed.
