The Role
If there was a job vacancy in this position I would definitely apply. It has been fantastic.
They were always very appreciative of my work and let me know when I had done something particularly well.
My manager always made time if I had a problem (those these were only ever minor) and was always very helpful in explaining things to me.
It depended on what event we were working on at the time. The two weeks before an event are particularly, whilst the middle of my internship when we had no events on was quite quiet.
My role was mainly assisting with the admin/logistical side of organising events, but I was given the responsibility of managing the guest list for our House of Lords event, liaising with internal departments and guests, sending invites and managing the database.
As I have just graduated, the skills I have learnt in events management, relationship management, admin and team work will be invaluable for my future career as I hope to find a job in the same area.

It is luck whether there are any vacancies in a particular area at the time, but if you get your name known within the department, hopefully they will let you know when vacancies come up in future.
The Culture
Intern drinks were organised most weeks as well as fundraising events. The induction days were very good for getting to know the other interns.
Normal London prices!
There are some nice pubs, bars and restaurants.
Other than intern drinks and fundraisers, we were encouraged to sign up for other events, which are always great fun and excellent experience.
