The Role
Absolutely loved the work I had to do and the projects I was involved in had the right degree of complexity to feel challenged.
Had the chance to work with managers from different departments and I felt thet had a lot of trust in me when I was assigned work.
Everybody was more than happy to help whenever I asked for assistance. I was given training material and went on training courses when needed.
Didn't have one "slow" day in the whole 10 week internship. I had more than enough to keep me going.
Again, complete trust was placed in me and I feld I made a real contribution to the team. Some of the work will be used after I finish.
The Company
Loved the people I worked with, everybody was really supportive and easy going. I also appreciated their sense of humour.
I was given the chance to attend some training courses, as much as time permits in a 10 week internship.
The Culture
All of us live in Uni halls and there is always something to do, even during evenings after work.
Derby is OK in terms of prices.
Decent nightlife, no entry fees usually and all clubs are fairly close to one another which is a +.
