The Role
The work was both challenging and varied, I feel I have learnt a great deal (both technical and non-technical). And the experiece will help me gain a good job in the future.
The team I worked with welcomed me as if I was a regualer employee, and gave me the encouragement and oppurtunity to act as part of the team.
The management have been there for me at every opportunity.
I have been given a chance to choose my own projects and manage my own time.
I was allowed to run my own projects and have been given responsiblity to manage these projects on my own.
I have learnt a great deal which I can take away with me.
The Company
The office has a very close family feel to it.
The internship was extremly well organised, with many processes in place to assist interns.
The company has invested a lot of time and resources in me, whenever i wanted to learn something new I was always allowed to find an appropiate training course which the company would fund and give me the needed time off.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Very appealing, as the comapany have a great attitude towards interns coming back in the future.
The Culture
There was always events organised for interns and employees.
Bristol is fairly expensive.
The nighlife is very good with lots of places geared for students.
Yes, there are many charity and fund raising vents in the area, also the company has many sports clubs which they encourage you to get involved in.
