The Role
It is a internship that will challenge you but the skills that you acquire will be invaluable to any future career.
I was made to feel very welcome by everyone at the company. Whether it be within my branch or on the phone to head office everyone at enterprise treats each other the same and creates a happy environment to work in
The management team have been superb in providing me with the training i needed and helping me develop my skills set during my internship
You will never find yourself sitting around saying "what is there to do?" There is always something going on but it keeps the day exciting and it is beneficial to your experience learning how to cope in a busy working environment
Once you get more comfortable with the role you are given more responsibility. ERAC want you to grow as an individual and so they give you new challenges every day to make you develop as an employee and learn what it is like to have responsibility in the company
I have learnt so much with my time at ERAC, it is a career far removed from my degree but that is what made it very enjoyable and important to developing my skills set. I was able to learn lots about the workings of a business, customer service and sales although my degree is not business related
The Company
The work was important but we were able to enjoy ourselves throughout the day. The great thing about Enterprise is all of their employees are so friendly so everyone really gets on well, which made a great atmosphere in the office
Really well organised, it has been smooth running from my initial training week right up until my last day and i could not fault this company on organisation.
My management team, and senior managers, have been constantly taking time to help me develop throughout my employment. Throughout the day i was provided with training and was also regularly spoken to about my progress which helped as i could concentrate on areas of my job that i was struggling
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare from home
I have already agreed to return at Christmas for further work experience, the internship programme made the company an exciting prospect for a future career
The Culture
I think it differs person to person but we were provided with a training group in our first week, and although we split up to different areas we have kept in touch and the company has provided opportunities to keep up contact with the group
London is expensive but if you find the right areas you can make it affordable
Really close to Clapham and Putney so there was a lot of places to go out and have fun
ERAC encourages everyone to get involved with out of work activities, I did not choose to necessarily partake in such events
