  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The atmosphere and culture at Barclays meant I enjoyed this more than the other two internships I have done.

  • The team were great fun and I felt like I fitted in really well.

  • My line manager and buddy regularly asked how I was doing and made me feel well supported.

  • A mixture of project work and client requests meant I always had something to do, but rarely felt like I couldn't cope.

  • In my third week I was producing presentations which were sent globally around Barclays, and also helping on client work.

  • The analytical and presentational skills I developed will be of great value in future studies and careers.

  • I really enjoyed working with my team and we went out a couple of times too.

  • This was the best organised of the three internships I have completed.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The interns went out every week, and there was always someone to talk to at the intern events!

  • London is expensive.

  • I had a few brilliant nights out with my team and the other interns
