The Role
Enjoyed the experience. Everyone I worked with was very nice and welcoming and learnt a lot.
Always felt valued with my colleagues. They gave me meaningful tasks and positive feedback when tasks were perfomed diligently.
Had 3 reviews in order to monitor progress and improve performance. A number of talks were also organised to ensure we got the most out of our experience.
It varied. On some occasions I had a fair bit to do whilst some days I went almost a whole day waiting for new work to come in. On the whole though I wasn't worked too hard, especially compared to full time colleagues.
Was given a reasonably large degree of responsibility which made the experience more worthwhile.
Not so useful with regards to my degree but will definitely help me in my future career.
The Company
The office was a pleasant environment to work in, everyone was working very hard so opportunities for "fun" were somewhat limited.
Very well organised. Lots of events put on and lots of communication.
Invested a lot of time and money in training me and ensuring I got the most out of the experience.
Got a job.
The Culture
As we were working hard there wasnt much time for a social scene. Were a couple of social events throughout the process.
Didnt really socialise too much and canary wharf is pretty expensive. I was put up in limehouse which was slightly cheaper.
No idea? Worked in London so I presume it was good but didnt really get much of a chance to experience it.
Volunteering in the local community one day. Helped clean a park in shoreditch.
