The Role
With it being such a long placement it had it's highs and lows. But overall was one of the best things I've ever done.
I felt like a valued memeber of the team, and office.
Some days were slow, but generally I always had some work to get on with.
During my placement I led a number of projects from start to finish.
As this was my first real job, I felt that I developed my skills more within this placement than I could at my whole time at University.
The Company
Everything from lunch time boardgames to just random funny chats.
Very well organised, work had been though out ahead.
Plenty of oppurtunites by not many that I took up.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare/Dental
I got a JOB, what more do I to say :)
The Culture
Varied.
Hull is a very cheap place to live, and I shared a flat with another placement student which just made the whole thing even cheaper.
Surpisingly good.
Weekly 5-a-side games, managed to break someones nose.
