  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The team and culture was great, one project was great the other one was quite monotonous.

  • Great culture.

  • Saw my manager c. 7 times the whole internship due to his senior position and there was no one else who could guide me.

  • Most days were quite busy, some not too much.

  • Started a project myself which included me going out to see external clients by myself in my first week.

  • Communication and networking skills will be very beneficial.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Varied, some days were dull as offices were empty due to olympics, some days were really fun.

  • Well structured with continuous reviews and trainings.

  • Held quite a few events to help us out including lunches with seniors, financial training, presentation training, charisma training.

  • Slow progression.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Had a few events with the team.

  • Quite expensive in Canary wharf, but you need to be in the right place at the right time.

  • Had to go further out of Canary Wharf for a good night out.

  • Flexible hours allowed this.
